This style is made with "hair-on-hide", which is cowhide that has the hair left on it. I only use pieces that are very soft
and silky in the hand, despite the technical term! Presently I can only offer hides in various brown shades as shown on this
page. I do intend to have some black and white versions again soon!

I was inspired by a vintage leather clutch that I bought at an antique store years ago.
This style fits easily into a brief case, is comfortable to hold, and expect compliments! And don't be surprised if someone
asks you if they can "pet" your purse!
These are 10" across, 2" wide, and about 8" high from bottom to top of handle. I select coordinating leather
and suede for the handle, and playful and colorful lining.
I choose only very soft and supple leather, so it does feel as good as it looks--please see photo below of the purse rolled
up!
And due to the nature of natural hides and pelts, every purse is unique!
I use silk or cotton for the body lining--usually in a fun print and leather and/or suede for the top. A comfortable cutout
creates the handle, and there is a strong, low profile magnetic closure with a dark finish.
I include a zippered pocket, good for cell phone, keys, or other smaller items.
